After we can produce regenerative methanol from CO2 emissions and waste or biomass which I uploaded this morning (https://lnkd.in/gW9iCJaZ), what can we do next with this affordable and clean fuel (SDG No. 7)? Ideally, we should also be able to make maximum use of it.
The current state of the art technology still places fuel cell technology as the most efficient energy conversion technology compared to Internal Combustion Engines (ICE) and turbines or microturbines. So what the engineers at the Advanced Renewable Organization (ARO) designed next were methanol-based fuel cells, the technology we chose is Reformed Methanol Fuel Cells (RMFC).
With a compact design only the size of a standard suitcase, in the future we can be energy independent wherever we are. Unlike noisy generators, this RMFC technology is very quiet, when operating it only sounds like the sound of wind moving by a fan blowing.
This suitcase-sized power plant can be placed anywhere, in an electric car it will become a range extender, no longer need to wait for the car to be recharged, you can charge the battery while the car is running. The important thing is that it is filled with methanol only in a compact tank which is also included in this 'suitcase'.
There is a lot of methanol economy that can be driven by this RMFC, apart from electric vehicles, electricity for remote areas, BTS telecommunication towers, etc., everyone can use this RMFC power plant, while the methanol can be produced by local communities using the technology that I introduced previously above.
For electrochemical engineers who are interested in making 'a suitcase-sized power plant' happen, you can work together with us. In the era of fossil energy, we have to import all our generators from large to small. In this era of Advanced Biofuels, we can be champions in the field of biofuels production because biomass grows all year round in this tropical country on the equator. But more than that, why don't we also produce all the technologies needed to achieve Net-Zero Emissions for the whole world?
